share of 100 Index flat in the local stock market

KARACHI: The price of the shares on the stock exchange Karachi (dry) ended lower Monday in low turnover as investors remained on the sidelines, dealers said.

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) reference 100-share index fell to 0.08% or 9,40 points, to end the 11,674.83.

Volume fell to 36,32 million shares, compared with 56 8million in the stock market Friday.

"There was a limited activity in all areas that currently there is no positive trigger," said a dealer stock dry.

Other dealers said volume could pick up as blue chip companies are due to announce their corporate results for the quarter ended March 31, in the coming days.
