Military helicopter crashes in Darfur, 5 dead: Army

KHARTOUM: The Sudanese army helicopter, crashed Monday at the dEl-Fasher in Northern Darfur airport, killing all five people on board, the spokesman of the army, has expressed, in the second accident of its kind within a week.

"The helicopter trying to land at the dEl - Fasher airport has experienced a technical problem and crashed," Sawarmi Khaled Saad said media.

The aircraft was completely destroyed and all five people on board were killed. Three of them were crew members and two passengers. "They were all in the army," said Sawarmi. (AFP)
