The protests fresh rattle Syria; death toll mounts

Damascus: Fresh protests shook the Syria Monday as lowered thousands in the street a day after 11 people were killed by security forces as the clamor to end martial law applied, said activists.

Events under the sway of the center of the city of Homs, the hub of protest of Dara in the South as well as in Jisr al-Shoughour, near the town of Northwest of Idlib, despite pledges by the President to lift draconian emergency law.
